Duke of Suffolk’s ally, Adam Moleyns, was killed by Portsmouth mob (had been forced to resign from government in November 1449)

Suffolk was arrested and imprisoned in the Tower of London. He was later banished for five years
15 April 1450
Battle of Formigny - decisive French victory in Normandy
2 May 1450
The Duke of Suffolk was captured and executed by a mob from Kent in his journey to exile (on the boat Nicholas of the Tower)
Late May 1450
Jack Cade gathered the support from men in Kent and marched to London in protest against government of the country
18 June 1450
Cades rebellion clashed with royal forces at Sevenoaks
29 June 1450
Rebels murdered William Ayscough - Bishop of Salisbury - who had become very powerful

Jack Cade’s rebellion reached London and presented a formal compliant - the 14 points
