Limited thoracic rotation
Limited GHJ external rotation

Limited shoulder girdle retraction
Limited horizontal extension
Why are these problems occurring in shoulder throw
Limited TR = reduced thoracic mobility
Limited ER = tight internal rotators - pec major and subscap
Limited shoulder girdle retraction = tight pec minor and serratus ant
Limited horizontal ext = tight pec major
Exercise for pec major tightness
Resistance band pulls
2-4 sets
30-60 sec reps
Focus on eccentric phase
What exercise is needed for right pec minor tightness to increase ROM at shoulder girdle retraction
Doorway stretch
Closed kinetic chain
Static stretch that helps creep and relaxation
What are the outcome measures for pec major tightness
Test with a goniometer
Or eyeball and feedback
Use supine led hands on back of head stretch, see if increase in ROM from initial test - positive test if elbows don’t touch bed
