Action:
adducts and flexes thigh at hip joint
assists medial rotation

Attachments:
body and inferior ramus of pubis
pectineal line and proximal part of linea aspera

adducts thigh,
active during flexion and extension of the thigh and gait
Adductor Magnus attachments and actions
Attachments:
adductor part: inferior ramus of pubis and ramus of ischium
gluteal tuberosity and linea aspera
hamstring part: ischial tuberosity

Action:
flexion of leg at knee
