Biomedical therapy
- Treats with medications or procedures that act directly on a patient’s physiology
- An eclectic approachcombines techniques from various forms of psychotherapy

- To reclaim all the unconscious thoughts, feeling that have been repressed
- To provide insight of their origin
- Therapist can provide analysis to reduce growth/embedded conflict
