repression projection displacement reaction formation regression rationalization identification
Repression

Projection

Displacement
divert feelings from original thought to substitute target (ex. parent scolds you so you scold your little brother)
Reaction Formation

Regression
revert to immature behaviour patterns (have a temper tantrum if you don’t get your way)
