Why is God referred to as the father?
- creator of the universe
- Christians taught to to speak to God using ‘abba’, meaning daddy, a way of showing their close relationship

Why is God referred to as the son?
- Jesus=God incarnate
- He was placed in Mary by the Holy spirit
Why did God come to earth as Jesus?
- to reveal himself to people, showing people how he wants them to love
- to sacrifice himself on the cross for salvation
- to rise form the dead and show God has power over death

-He is a guide and comforter to Christians

Why are there some people who don’t believe in the Trinity?
- leads to the idea that there is more than one God, which puts monotheism at risk
- they see it as going against the ten commandment-‘you shall have no other God but me’

- makes them feel more connected with previous generations

What is the Nicene creed used for today?
-unites Christians together as a group, states ‘We believe’ whereas apostles states ‘I believe’

- the ‘breath of God’
