What effect did the Treaty have on Germany and its people?
It weakened them very badly and many were angry that the Weimar Republic agreed to sign it.

Alsace-Lorraine in the West of the country.
The Polish Corridor in the East.

How did the agreement damage Germany’s economy?
They were forced to pay £6,600 in reparations to France and Britain.
How did it weaken the army?
It banned the German air force.
No submarines were allowed.
A 100,000 soldier maximum was enforced.

They felt WW1 had not been 100% Germany’s fault and that they were being scapegoated.
