Clemenceau - Revenge, wealth and army taken, no more war guarantee.

How did people react?
Nationalists mad. Scheidemann resigned and Bauer signed the treaty.
SPD coalition - Policy of fulfilment. November criminals, soldiers supported SPD. Communism and violent nationalist groups.
How did other countries react to the Treaty?
Britain - Germany no longer a threat, Communism may take over Germany.
USA - Left LON due to reparations being too high in 1920a - keep out of European issues.
France - Suffered most so wanted hardest reparations.
