What were the issues with coalition governments?

A

.Moderate parties were struggling.
.There were many disagreements e.g. over the reparation ultimatum and the Treaty of Versailles.
.Extreme parties gained more support so Reichstag elections were called.
.June 1920 - the SPD stopped being a leader involved in coalition governments due to divisions internally.

.10 between Feb 1919 and Nov 1923. Loss of confidence in democracy and no policy could be followed but extreme-anti-democratic parties thrived.
