It was authorized by president Andrew Jackson that said the natives will have to move further west, as the whites got to get their lands. Some tribes agreed peacefully, but others did not at all.

He was the president that ignored the supreme court when told he should not force the natives out of their homes, but he did it anyways. The whites wanted more and more lands, forcing the natives to be pushed out.

Trail of Tears
A
The Trail of Tears were the paths that the Natives were forced to take to get from their lands to Oklahoma. It was called The Trail of Tears because many people died, and got only 15 minutes to mourn and bury their loved ones. They were forced out of their homes without consent as well.
