The National Socialist German Workers Party
In English it was referred to as the Nazi Party. It was a political party in Germany between 1920 and 1945, which created and supported Nazism.
Adolf Hitler
He was born in Austria, having a somewhat rough childhood. He fought in the war for Germany, and almost got killed, but the soldier let him go as he was wounded. He later came to be known as the maniac who wanted to get rid of all Jews, and wrote the book Mein Kamf which told his plan.
Mein Kamf
It meant “My Struggle”, and was made by Adolf Hitler which promoted the components of Nazism, antisemitism, and told his plans to rid the world of Jews.
Platform
It is a formal set of goals which are supported by either a political party or a candidate. The main purpose is to garner the general public’s votes about serious or complicated topics.
Holocaust
It was state sponsored. It was the murder of almost six million Jews by the Nazis. The Greek word for it is “sacrifice by fire”
Genocide
It is the killing of a large group of people, specifically because of their particular ethnic group or nation.
Concentration Camp
It is a camp created to contain a large amount of prisoners (even if they didn’t do anything wrong) in bad or unhealthy conditions.
Hate Crime
It is a crime sparked because of bias against race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or disability.
Milgram Experiment
It was created to see whether people would really obey authority figures even if what they are telling them to do is wrong and could be hurting someone else.
