Political Cartoon
Its cartoon that is usually about a political person, event, institution, or idea. It shows how they feel about something. They can be funny, but they are trying to persuade you to their side (propaganda).
Some features are:
Visuals, symbols, makes fun of, satire, popular culture, political message or theme: serious message, caricature.
Antisemitism
It is the racism/ prejudice against the Jews. Hitler practiced antisemitism, and it was a widely-used word during the Holocaust.
Patriotism
It means to be patriotic, or having devotion to and support for another person’s country.
Nationalism
It is the identification with one’s own nation and support for its interests, which could cause different and somewhat more violent ideas to spread in the name of your country.
Treaty of Versailles
It was a document signed between Germany and the Allied Powers following World War I that officially ended that war.
WW1
It took place on June 28 1914 - 1918. In 1917, the US went to war. 5 million people died, and 58,000 British soldiers died on the first day alone.
