What are the rough prominences on the tongue called?
Pupillae
Different pupillae and where they are round
- Fungiform : At front
- Filliform: Around the midline
- Circumvallate (also known as vallate)- found on sulcus terminalis
- Folliate( on side)
Which are the only pupillae which do not have taste buds?
The filiform pupillae

smooth mucous membrane
