A Satellite State is a political term that refers to a country or nation that was
formally independent, but is politically and economically influenced
by another country

A
- Bribing or threatening people into voting for Communists
- Banning other parties
- Murdering other party leaders (e.g. Czechoslovakia)
- Soldiers & Secret police used to scare and intimidate voters
- Elections would be rigged (Fixed) (e.g. Poland)
