The Sixth Day Of Creation Flashcards
Beast
Heb. “Chay” חית alive (flesh), strong, living thing, living creature or beast, running troop
Creeping (animals)
Heb. “Remes” רמשׂ a reptile, or rapidly moving creature, creeping (moving) thing
So what about the animals?
- Job 40:15–24 So does the Bible mention Dinosaurs?
* Evolutionists tell us that dinosaurs lived 145-65 million yrs. ago and that they died out 65 million yrs. ago.
Theories why the Dinosaurs died out:
–Meteorites hitting the earth (didn’t kill mammals & other animals, very selective meteorites) –Mammals ate their eggs –Volcanic dust –Poisonous gases in the atmosphere –Comets & sunspots –Changes in the composition of the air
-Gen. 7:1-24 The Biblical Flood of Noah gives the most reasonable reason for the death of most of the Dinosaurs and their fossilization!
–After the flood many died out from the drastic change in environment (seasons)
–Competition of less abundant food
–Man killing them
–Destruction of habitats

The Creation of Land Animals
•Are Dinosaurs mentioned by man in ancient literature?
- In the Old Testament and many accounts in ancient literature Dragons are mentioned, since the word Dinosaur wasn’t coined until the 1820’s many of these legends about dragons may have been accounts of Dinosaurs.
- The more research into historical literature we do we realize that there is a strong body of evidence that dragons were real beasts that look much like the modern picture of Dinosaurs and that they may have existed even just a hundred years ago.
Are Dragons Myths?
- In 54 AD Pliny the Elder Roman Historian reports that a dragon was killed in Rome during the reign of Emperor Claudius, it contained the body of a child in its belly.
- Marco Polo ( 1254-1324 AD) in his travels to China reports seeing two lindworms (two legged dragons) while crossing the steppes of central Asia.
- Italian naturalist Ulisse Aldrovandi notes that he had in his collection a lindworm (two legged dragon) killed near Bonn Germany in 1572
- In 1856 Feb. 9th the Illustrated London News reports that while digging a railroad tunnel with explosives a large monstrous creature with membranous wings 11 ft. in length black in color with naked skin crawled out of the hole & died.
