What was the Saar?
A
It was a region of Germany, given to the LON as stated in the TOV. It was a major source of coal for Germany. The control of the coalfields was given to France. After 15 years, there could be a plebiscite to decide who the Saar would return/go to.

1935 - A plebiscite was held to who the Saar would be given to. 90% voted to return to Germany.
