People who advocate for the improvement of the prison system and for better conditions for prison workers and inmates.

- Wanted to reform offenders through education

Explain the role of a prison chaplain.
A
- Help to rehabilitate offenders
- Give support to prisoners who are the most vulnerable in society
- Not necessarily religious
- ‘Love thy neighbour’ - even though the chaplain may not be fond of the prisoner they still show them compassion b/c they are the most vulnerable in society - Parable of the Good Samaritan.
