Q

What is the Muslim response to good, evil and suffering?

A

Good:Everyone is born with fitrah, a natural knowledge of right and wrong. Doing the will of God is doing good. Those who believe in Allah and do good deeds will go to Paradise.

Evil and Suffering: Some say ‘What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil is from yourself’. Others say evil and suffering exist as part of God’s greater plan for humanity (al-Qadr).
