The crusades were a group of Christians who went to Jerusalem to claim the land they thought was holy and belonged to them.

Contact between two people of different cultures leading to a change in both of their systems.

Introduced by the Greek and Romans, democracy is where they give people the power in the election and let them decide their political leaders.

the act of officially excluding someone from the participation in church activities and offering services to the Christian Church.

the action of travelling to new lands in order to claim them as territory or learn about them.

Feudalism was a hierarchy showing people ranked according to their importance in society.

Having an opinion against an official or popular belief.

The idea that stresses the importance of Humans rather than a supernatural being.

a way to reduce the amount of punishment one has to undergo for sins according to Christianity.

A whole plot or piece of land owned by the Lords.

A country that is ruled by a monarch, head of state.

Knights, Fighting to protect their Fiefdoms.

a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.

Someone who funds an organization or project. (Mainly Art)

Worked the land on fiefdoms.
Perspective
An opinion or point of view on an idea or topic.

Someone who asks questions about the society they live in and their way of life.

a person who journeys to a sacred place for religious reasons.

The rebirth of old ideas.
