  • Reinhard Heydrich used Austria as ‘laboratory’ for developing SS policy
  • Central Office for Jewish Emigration set up; 45,000/180,000 Jews forced to emigrate
  • All Jewish organisations combined into a single ‘Reich Association of the Jews in Germany’ allowed for organisation difficulties to be dealt with by Jews themselves
