How were they built? Materials?

A

The pyramids were primarily built by slaves and labour workers, where they dragged blocks on ramps to slowly add on and create the pyramids. 30 men to push one block. Once it was done, they covered them with panels of white limestone and a gold pyramidion at the top.

A

2550-2490 BC. They were built to house the tombs of pharaohs.

A

15-30 years to build a pyramid. The King’s chamber had support beams to keep the pyramid standing. 130-150 metres tall approx.
