Chronic Disease
A persistent and lasting disease or medical condition. Now the major cause of death in the US
Health Psychology
The study or discipline that examines how psychological factors (behaviors, beliefs, emotions) influence our health and how our health influences psychosocial factors.
Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)
Includes diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is a condition that causes cells to divide in the lungs uncontrollably. This causes the growth of tumors that reduce a person’s ability to breathe.

Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is cancer that forms in the cells of the breasts.
A whole lot of research, information, and advocacy is done for breast cancer, even though it is not the deadliest one.
Exercise
Activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness.
Socioeconomic Status (SES)
The social class or social standing of an individual, usually measured by education, income, and occupation
Health Behaviors
The activities/behaviors aimed at enhancing one’s health, or preventing health problems
