Mecca was a create trade center, people would also come and bring their statues to the Kaaba and worship them, there were over 150 statues, they were known for their hospitality.

Hamza was very supportive of his nephew and he did everything he could to protect him.

Ja’far presented islam first by not kneeling to anyone but god, and he talked about the description of Jesus, the son of Maryam as well as reciting the verses of surah Maryam which led the king to announce the truthfulness of islam.

They were mad and they destroyed everything the muslims owned.
Why did the people of Yathrib invite the prophet to their city? What was the situation in Yathrib back then?
- They invited the Prophet (PBUH) because the people of Yathrib were fighting with each other for years, and they wanted one ruler who would serve them justice, peace, brotherhood and equality.
- Back then in Yathrib there were 2 big tribes who fought constantly on who should rule, they never came to an agreement. One day they heard about the Prophet (PBUH) and wanted to meet him and they did and the Prophet invited them to islam and they accepted.
Why did the Prophet let the camel choose where he will stay?
because that camel was guided by god, and where the camel will sit is where the prophet will sit and stay.
Who are al-Ansar and al-Muhajirun?
al-Ansar, are locals from al Madina (Yathrib) who helped and took in ( the al-Muhajirun ) the prophet and his followers into their homes when they emigrated from Meca to almadina.
