Q

Why was the Nazi - Soviet Pact made?

A

Britain and France did not like the USSR because they were Communist.
Russia felt that Britain was pushing Hitler towards them to protect themselves.
The USSR knew that Hitler wanted to take over Poland and was scared that they would be next as they were right next to each other.
Russia tried to make an agreement with Britain but it didn’t work.

Hitler would now definitely attack Poland because the USSR wouldn’t stop them.
