What happened?
A
6 months after agreeing that he didn’t want any more land Hitler sent his soldiers to take over the rest of Czechoslovakia.
Britain and France protested but didn’t do anything to stop it.

Why was this important?
A
It was the end of the appeasement.
Hitler had broken another promise and Britain would not longer use appeasements.
Britain and France both promised Poland that if Hitler tried to attack they would protect them.
