A fruit vendor saw robot Ram Singh 070 stealing some expensive Afghani grapes, and he reported it to the police. The police having received a lot of complaints about shoplifting and theft, began to watch Ram Singh and Prem Chopra.

Prem Chopra was left on bail by price as the police could not prove the charges immediately.
Why could Ram Singh not reveal some of the information?
Ram Singh could not reveal some of the information because his master, Prem Chopra had instructed him so and robot do not disobey their master.
Why did Ram Singh sacrifice himself?
Ram Singh sacrificed himself because he could neither disobey his master’s instructions nor could he harm people.
Describe how Ram Singh, the robot destroys himself?
Ram Singh, the robot destroys himself by disintegrating his own system. He jerks his head from left to right, and strange breaking, whirring, clicking sounds come from the robot’s body. A red light flashes on his forehead and a tiny door opens in his chest revealing a tiny T.V screen with ‘SYSTEM DISINTEGRATED flashing on it.
Why, in your opinion, did Prem Chopra say that he was guilty and deserved any punishment the court awarded him?
Prem Chopra realized that he was guilty not only of stealing things but also of putting his robot in a dilemma to choose between right and wrong that eventually led him to his death. This filled him with repentance. Hence, he said he deserved punishment.
How did the police get to know that a robot was stealing things from a shop?
A fruit vendor caught Ram Singh, the robot stealing some grapes and reported to the police.
