Secondary source
Information or evidence that comes from a later date. They are based on primary sources but are produced after the event.
Example: textbook/book, Biography
T.V documentaries,
Internet, films.
Primary source
Primary sources are taken directly from the past.
Example : Anne frank’s diary.
Biography
A book written about somebody’s life.
Example: famous people
Autobiography
A personal account/book about a person, written by that person.
Census
The official account of the population.
Bias
If the source favours one side or another.
Propaganda
Propaganda is a way of presenting information, sometimes false information in order to influence people’s opinion.
Manuscript
A book or document written by hand.
