how is a cardiac angiography performed?
a catheter inserted; tube into a blood vessel in groin/arm, x-ray images guide and catheter is passed up to heart. contrast medium injected and x ray images taken.
What are troponins I and T?
Structural components of cardiac muscle, released into bloodstream with myocardial injury. Highly specific, more so than CK-MB.
