- painless, firm lump - dull ache in the gorin
- history of trauma
- back pain - par oartic lymphnode mets
- breathlessness - lung mets
- bone pain - bone mets

- 95% are germ cell tumours
- seminomas (common in older men) (40%)
- non seminomas (younger men) (60%)
