The baptism at the Jordan
- by Jesus getting baptized and being half god, he is similar to humans being baptised
- he was sent to get rid of original sin
- all sins were wiped away with baptism.
Incarnation 3 reasons
Reconcile us with God. Adam and Eve
How: he did this by dying on the cross. And rose from the dead.
2. That we might know the depth of gods love.
How: Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
3. To be out model of holiness.
How: by all of his words and actions.
Wedding at Cana
proved he was son of God who god sent to reconcile us
- willing to come in his human form and provide
- shows his power that he can look out for us
Proclamation of the kingdom
repent and believe in the gospel
- Jesus and his love for everyone
- through Jesus he heals those who believe.
Transfiguration
God recognizes Jesus as his son who he loves and is well pleased after his crucifixion And rising from the death to forgive sins.
- he allowed his son to be killed for the forgiveness of sins
- flashy lights, Moses and Elyija appear: the transfiguration reassures faith in Jesus.
Institution of the Eucharist
Jesus is the lamb of god whose life is given so we can be free from sin
- showing he loves us through the Eucharist. Jesus is still with us
- turned ordinary bread and wine into his sacred body and blood.

Jesus goes to the garden to pray and talk to the father.
- while Jesus is praying, judas betrays him.

Trial before the Sanhedrin
it happens at night so the non elites wouldn’t riot.
-convicted of blasphemy:spreading false ideas about god.
Trial before Pilate
Rome actually calls the shots.
- they convict him of treason (start up riots.)
- scared of Jesus’ popularity, Rome wanted to be in control.
Crucifixion
- Golgotha : place of the skull.

- when he dies there is and eclipse, an earthquake, and the tearing of the vail in the temple.

Resurection
the passage of time when Jesus rises from the dead after his crucifixion, demonstrating that sin has no power over God.
Is ther proof of Jesus rising
If Jesus didn’t resurrect, then why didn’t Rome prove he didn’t. P
There is logical proof that Jesus died and rose.
What is the same in all 4 accounts of the crucifixion
- Women go to the tomb and learn about the resurrection first
- Said women find out about Jesus from an angel
- Mary Magdalene is at the Tomb
- Jesus meets the disciples to wish them peace and commission them to spread the good news
- Disciples are fearful at first but then understand what’s happening
Who was Christ obedient to?
Mary and Joseph.
Christ’s death: obedient to the father
-he does not wanna die on the cross. However he is obedient to the will of the father.
-he understood that the fathers plan is best.
