When Jesus rose from the dead he appeared to many people. One of the people was Mary Magdalene. She was the first person to notice the empty tomb. Jesus also appeared to the disciples. They first doubted, but hen believed him.
Give me one reason why the resurrection is a historically documented event
One argument for believing that the resurrection is a historically validated event is that, if Jesus didn’t rise, then why wouldn’t Rome prove that he didn’t. Therefore if Rome had no proof of his body still being there, he must have risen.
What questions or concerns with St. Paul addressing in first Corinthians chapter 15
In first Corinthians chapter 15, Saint Paul was addressing the issue of Jesus rising. He was listing several reasons proving that Jesus actually rose.
How are resurrected body be different than our earthly body
Paul tells us that a resurrected body is a transformed body. He uses the analogy of a seed being planted and only after it is buried it will transform. He never was able to describe a risen body through.
What revealed truths are confirmed by the resurrection
The resurrection confirms many truths. One of which is that Jesus is the actual son of God. Another truth that the resurrection tells us is that all of Jesus teachings are true.
Why does Christ’s resurrection give us hope for our own resurrection
The resurrection gives us hope about our resurrection because it confirms that all of Jesus teachings are true. Jesus preached that when we die we will live forever in heaven. We know that this is true, so it gives us hope.
Why did Christ have to go to hell
Jesus descended to hell because he had to go through the complete process of human dying. He was judged in the underworld to see where he would go. By doing this he defeated sin.

The ascension describes three things. The first is that Jesus has authority over heaven, earth, and hell. The second thing is that all of humanity has the chance to go heaven when they die. The third is that Jesus can be mor present when he is in heaven than when he was on earth.
