Never forgot anything, poems, speeches etc.
Everything was so literal he couldn’t find meaning in anything, he couldn’t recognize faces just focused on changes from face to face.
Memory was so distracting he couldn’t think abstractly.

Had small brain tumor removed- IQ score stayed the same but very indecisive.
His damage to orbitofrontal cortex caused no emotions, no response to tragedy, aggression, arousal.
Led to paralyzing indecisiveness because decisions rely on risk- to evaluate risk we rely on emotion
