Explain the significance of the name Seventh-day Adventist Church
When taking a name for ourselves, our founding fathers didn’t want a name that had already been used, felt exclusive, or had bias. The name Seventh-day Adventist is significant because it’s unique and lets everyone know what makes us different than other religions without initially pushing others away. In addition, it has both of our foundational doctrines in the name, the sabbath and the sanctuary.
