Q

Write a paragraph about a topical rain forest.

A

It is always hot & very humid in the tropical rain forest. It rains almost daily. The trees form a canopy, making the forest floor dark so that few shrubs or grasses grow. However, there is always some kind of fruit growing. There are more species of animals in the rain forest than in any other place on earth. The people of the rain forest traditionally have lived in temporary huts; they hunt and gather to get their food. They often lived in tribes ruled by a chief. Transportation was by boat or on foot.
