Dehiscence is

A

the partial or total separation of the wound layers

(Usually occurs at 3-11 days postinjury or surgery. Most commonly involves surgical wounds of the abdomen and can occur after a vigorous bout of coughing or straining. Strategy to prevent is to provide support to the area, such as using a pillow as a splint when coughing)

Surgical technique in which short, narrow tubes (trochars) are inserted into the abdomen through small (less than one centimeter) incisions. Through these trochars, long, narrow instruments are inserted. The surgeon uses these instruments to manipulate, cut, and sew tissue

Pre-eclampsia (and common sign)

A

high blood pressure after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
-Protein in the urine is a common sign of the disease. Pre-eclampsia usually goes away after you give birth. But symptoms may last a few weeks or more and can get worse after delivery. Rarely, symptoms of pre-eclampsia don’t show up until days or even weeks after childbirth.

A

pyloric part, connects the stomach to the duodenum. The pylorus is considered as having two parts, the pyloric antrum (opening to the body of the stomach) and the pyloric canal (opening to the duodenum).
