What is meant by the term Differential diagnosis?
Distinguishing the disease or condition from others that present with similar clinical signs or symptoms
i.e; short list of potential diagnosis that are made before a definitive diagnosis is reached
What is meant by the term Definitive diagnosis?
The final diagnosis that is made after getting the results from tests (such as blood tests or biopsies) that were performed to find out if a certain disease or condition was present
