Definition of CSAM?
Child Sexual Abuse Material
Any kind of content that depicts a minor engaged in sexual activity or a sexualized pose. This can include images, videos, or even written content.
Meterial
The mere fact of the sexual activity taking place is sufficient to constitute abuse. Furthermore, child sexual abuse can take the form of both contact and non-contact abuse.
The abuse doesn’t have to be real for it to be CSAM. Even drawings or animations of child sexual abuse are considered CSAM.
Examples of CSEM?
Images of children in newspapers, commercial, bathingsuit etc.

Examples of CSAM?
This encompasses a wide range of acts, including intercourse, oral sex, or any touching of a sexual nature.
Difference between CSAM and CSEM?
The sexual abuse of children requires no element of exchange, only for the purpose of the person commit the act.
While CSAM specifically refers to material depicting actual abuse, CSEM includes a wider range of material that contributes to the sexual exploitation of children.
CSEM could be Images of children in underwear and is not illegal.
Definition of Child?
