What is CIRCAMP and what does it do?
Child Sexual Abuse Material Project
Voordinated effort between law enforcement agencies, internet service providers (ISPs), and other stakeholders to identify and block access to online content depicting child sexual abuse.

o ISPs and service providers to report CSAN
- Allow self-regulation
o Allow companies to scan their own systems, require retention of data
- Sanctions and Sentencing
o Ensure there is no criminal liability for children involved in CSAM, enhance penalties for repeat offenders etc.
- LE Investigations & Data Retention
o Data retention vs preservation requests. MLATs (mutual legal assistant treaties) and other judicial orders take time.

What is the same and what is different?
Both provide comprehensive definitions of child pornography and require member states to criminalize offenses related to its production, distribution, and possession and have preventive measures, international cooperation, and victim protection and support in combating child pornography.

Nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children from abduction, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violence and abuse.
ICMEC works with governments, law enforcement agencies, policymakers, and civil society organizations around the world to address the issues of missing and exploited children through advocacy, research, training, and technical assistance
