  • An increase in proteoglycan content

What does Tendinopathy look like?

A
  • Accumulation of rounded and enlarge tenocytes
  • Disorganisation of collagen fibres and loss of architecture
  • Abundant ground substance with demarcation of collagen bundles
  • Agglomeration of capillaries
