Tendinopathy is a pain or dysfunction asscoiated with any tendon. consists of both degenerative and inflammatory changes

What are the Risk factors for tendinopathy?

A
  • overload / chronic overload
  • changes in load or training
  • underloading - a sedentary lifestyle causes the tendon to be unable to tolerate ‘normal load’ so then normal activity becomes overload
