- Corporate culture
o Reasons: Increased globalization, lowering of barriers to mobility of labor and capital, often accompanied by rapid adoption of policy by governments that reduce differences between nations, firm and national factors have different levels of sensitivity (firm reflects unique features of a firm, national factors reflect all firms within a country)
o Corporate culture is unique, intangible, sticky and difficult to change and maintaining a culture of relentless innovation is difficult (success of one product likely to make firm try to protect current profits)
