1. Identify the hazards
2. Decide who might be harmed and how
3. Evaluate the risks and decide on precautions
4. Record the findings and implement them
5. Review the assessment and update if necessary and
6. Advise all those affected of the outcome of the assessment and methods of work, or other control measures necessary, to minimise or eliminate risk.
