working together with patient, whanua, hapu, iwi to be included in discussion ad decision about their health care needs

commit to achieveing equitable health outcomes for Maori through the functions that it is responsible for

acknowledging the differences in health status and ensuring health and health equity needs are met

be well informed on the extent and nature of both maori health outcomes and efforts to achieve maori health equity through culturally safe nursing practice
