Heat edema: together with sore throat, scanty hot yellow urine
Toxic Sore Edema
Toxic sore edema: sore, carbuncles on the skin

Lung: severe edema, with dyspnea, wheezing, can’t lie flat
Spleen Edema
Spleen: chronic edema, poor appetite, weak four limbs, heavy body, greasy tongue coating
Kidney Edema
Kidney: edema on and off, lower back, knee soreness, ear ringing, blurred vision
Heart Edema
Heart: obvious lower limb edema, palpitations, fearful throbbing, chest oppression, irritability, can’t lie flat
Upper body edema
Upper body edema: promote sweat (open pores)
Middle body edema
Middle body edema: middle fullness, excessive (purgation to eradicate dumps the turbidity to eliminate accumulated waste fluid)
Lower body edema
Lower body edema: diuresis, promote urination
Symptoms: edema starts from the eyelids and then spreads to the four limbs and all over the body then rapidly spreads, soreness of joints, dysuria, lustrous and bright skin in the swelling area, pitting after
pressure, can include either wind heat or wind cold signs, if there is severe edema there is a deep pulse
