What is the taxonomy system used for?

Answer 1

It’s main function is to place organisms in groups of other similar organisms
- breaks down similar organisms
- then goes into specifics (species)

Question 2

What are the two main groups that we use to categorize organisms?

Answer 2

Domain: Organisms with similar features that are grouped together

Kingdom: Slightly smaller group than a domain group

(keeps going on until each organism is it’s own thing)
