What is DNA made of?
A
Nitrogen bases:
- Adenine (goes with T)
- Thymine (goes with A)
- Cytosine (goes with G)
- Guanine (goes with C)
Sugar phosphate backbone
Arranged in double helix

Why can’t you have mismatched pairs?
A
Mismatched pairs will cause a mutation: e.g. you can’t have AC or GT

The traits of all organisms: e.g. hair color, eye color, height, etc.

Dominant: When a gene dominates other genes
Recessive: No dominant genes are present; the less dominant genes
