-the supremacy of Allah, in heavens earth and everything else
-everything belongs to him and he is the master of the universe
-everything is dependent on him, and nothing is without his will
-the universe was created with purpose and Allah directs it
+“Say O Muhammad who provides for you from the sky and the earth? or who has power over hearing and sight? and who brings out the living from the dead and brings out the dead from the living? and who rules and regulates all affairs? They will say: Allah. “say, will you not then bow before Allah”
-acknowledge Allah as the supreme lawgiver who can tell us what is right and wrong and how to live our life
-authority to decide law, decorum, worship and morals
