  • If unsure about presence of water, required to travel 150M to look.
• to weak to get water
• Lack of tool to get water (ie. bucket for well)
• Fear of attack (animal closeby)
• Price (if doubled price, do not get it)

• Fear of thirst (need the water you have)
• Fear of sickness (very cold out, and water can’t be warm.
• Most of body is bandaged or wounded
• Fear of missing Eid or Janaza Prayer. exception for Wali or person leading Eid Prayer
• Water is owned by someone, DOA if you have to ask for it, recommended (mustahab) to at least ask.

6 Fard (3 Sunnah) of Tayammum - state it in order

1. Use something that is mostly earth. Shouldn’t melt or turn to ash if burned
2. Make intension (Say Bismillah)
3. Strike surface -remove rings (With fingers seperated, move hands in dirt, strike back of hands move them, interlace fingers, bump knuckles for each dust.
4. Wipe face completely
5. strike again (same way)
6. Wipe both arms completely

Sunnah is to maintain order and without undue delay between the acts.
