Wajib actions make a prayer not only valid, but SOUND.
Leaving them on purpose invalidates the prayer and is sinful.
Leaving them on accident required forgetful prostrations. If you forgot, the prayer is valid, but should be repeated.

  1. Allahu Akbar as tahreem
  2. Fatiha in first two rakaats
  3. No delay between Fatiha and surah in first two rakaats
  4. Recitation of length of a surah in first two rakaats

  6. The follower does not make forgetfulness prostrations unless the imam does.
