Up to 3 sectors:
14 hours day

(1 hour less if 4 or more sectors)

Up to 2 hours by PIC. More than 2 hours must be approved by TAG (DFO, CP, Duty Pilot)
An extension of 3 hours permitted in an emergency.
NCC Absolute max FDP
18 hours (including extensions or splits)
NCC Rest
11 hours (reduced to 9 in exceptional circumstances)
13 hours after an extended FDP
NCC single day
24 hours starting at 0001 local
NCC Landing Distance Calculation
Dry: LDR x 1.25
Wet: LDR x 1.25 x 1.15 (= LDR x 1.44)
NCC Over Water Rule (ETOPS equivalent)
150 minutes single engine flight time.
NCC Cat C aerodromes
No sim or previous visit requirement(!)
PIC briefs all crew
FTL signed by both pilots
Highest published minimums apply for all approaches.
NCC Final Reserve Fuel
No Dest Alt: At least 45 mins at normal cruising altitude.
With Dest Alt: Fly to alternate and then 45 mins at normal cruise altitude.
Maximum duty hours
- 70 hours in 7 days
- 120 hours in 14 days
- 240 hours in 28 days
